ESMO24 - ORR van 78% met sotorasib, panitumumab en FOLFIRI in eerste lijn bij KRAS G12C-gemuteerd mCRC
Een eerstelijnsbehandeling met sotorasib, panitumumab en FOLFIRI bij patiënten met KRAS G12C-gemuteerd, gemetastaseerd colorectaal carcinoom geeft een objectief responspercentage van 78%. Dit bleek uit de resultaten van de fase 1B-CodeBreak 101-studie. Prof. dr. Salvatore Siena (Milaan, Italië) presenteerde deze resultaten tijdens het ESMO Congress 2024. “Het toevoegen van FOLFIRI aan sotorasib en panitumumab liet een hanteerbaar veiligheidsprofiel zien”, zei hij. Ongeveer 3% van de patiënten met colorectaal carcinoom (CRC) heeft een KRASG12C-mutatie. In de fase 1B-CodeBreak 101-studie wordt sotorasib in verschillende combinaties onderzocht bij patiënten met gemetastaseerd, KRAS G12C-gemuteerd CRC.
